Overview of the Multicultural Arts Programme Grant (Productions)

The MAP Grant (Productions) supports the creation and production of quality works inspired by Singapore's multicultural traditions and identity, as well as co-creation across arts traditions and disciplines with local and/or regional/international partners. These productions should seek to increase appreciation and participation in multicultural arts in Singapore, bringing Singaporeans from diverse backgrounds into shared cultural experiences.

For Collaborations

  • For proposals that involve collaborations between two or more artists and/or organisations, the lead applicant must be a Singapore citizen or PR, assume full administrative, legal and financial responsibility and play a key role in the conceptualisation and creation process.
  • For proposals that involve collaborations with foreigners, projects must be anchored and led by Singaporean artists, i.e. the lead applicant and at least half the artistic team/cast should be Singaporean or PR.

What does it support?

The grant supports the creation of original new works, as well as the adaptation and redevelopment of works, within the Performing, Visual, Literary, or Multi-disciplinary art forms of up to 24 months.

Funding is up to 100% of a realistic budget, capped at $500,000 per application. Each applicant will be capped at 2 applications per category per financial year.

How to apply?

You will need to submit your application for the MAP Grant via the OurSG Grants Portal (OSG). You will be required to submit CVs of the key artistic team and samples of past works most relevant to your application. Please refer to the guidelines for the submission details.
