Since 2013, Singapore Art Week (SAW) is the pinnacle celebration of Singapore’s vibrant visual arts landscape hosted annually. It is Singapore’s signature visual arts season that celebrates the coming together of arts and cultural institutions,
private galleries, non-profit arts organisations, independent artists and curators, to present arts events across both physical and digital spaces.
As a spotlight, gathering and launchpad, SAW offers a platform for the creation of a diverse range of new works, transnational collaborations, and knowledge-sharing from both local and regional arts communities.

For its 10th anniversary taking place from 14 to 23 January 2022, SAW 2022 keeps to the theme of ‘Art Takes Over” and invites artists, curators, producers and partners to develop physical, digital and hybrid projects that explores regeneration and transformation in the new world that we live in.
As we ponder this sea-change and our relationship with the world, SAW 2022 invites all to explore the possibilities that this moment in time offers: ways forward and ways to connect, beyond time, borders, cultures and histories.
