This category supports the creation, development and/or execution of programmes, held locally or in collaboration with international artists and partners, that strengthen the multicultural arts ecosystem organically in Singapore through capability development, research, dialogue and discourse. These programmes should aim to encourage spaces for experimentation and organic play, enhance and promote cross-cultural appreciation, as well as facilitate the continuous and sustainable production for Singapore's multicultural arts, especially for the younger generations.
What does it cover?
The grant supports the creation, development and/or execution of programmes up to 18 months, for ecosystem development projects within Performing, Visual, Literary, or Multi-disciplinary art forms. This includes support for the following (not limited to):
- Creation and experimentation (e.g. Incubation labs, structured mentorship
- Thought leadership platforms (e.g. Fellowships, Symposiums, Conferences)
- Research and documentation projects
- Educational (i.e. Development of pedagogical materials and teachers)
- Festivals
- Regional collaboration platforms

Application requirements
To provide a clearer sense of what form the resulting work will take and the merits of the proposal, we require applicants to submit supporting samples of past works most relevant to your application, if you are applying to develop and execute a programme. Applications must be submitted online via the OurSG Grants Portal by 23:59 (SGT) on the closing date. Late applications and submissions via other means e.g. email, hardcopies will not be accepted.
If there is any pending information from partners/collaborators, please submit the application by the closing date and state clearly what is still outstanding/unconfirmed. The outstanding information should be submitted to NAC once available.
In line with efforts to encourage greater governance over grant monies, the following will apply to all MAP (Productions) Grant:
- Grants $10,000 and above will require their Statement of Accounts to be certified by an accountant registered with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) or equivalent international body. Grants $100,000 and above will require their Statement of Accounts to be independently audited by a public accountant registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or equivalent international body.
- As part of the submission during grant closure, the proof of the accountant's registration with ISCA or any equivalent international body (e.g. ISCA Membership ID) must be provided.
- For Chartered Accountants registered with an international body, documentary proof (e.g. certificate, screenshot of membership ID on the registry) must be provided.
