I Play SG Music

Bringing local music into your everyday life

Imagine our homegrown tunes accompanying a family’s weekly grocery shopping, creating the soundtrack to someone’s commute, or providing the perfect backdrop for friends to catch up over a meal. This is the vision behind "I Play SG Music" (IPSGM) – a National movement that celebrates music made in Singapore by weaving it into the fabric of our everyday lives.

IPSGM was inspired by NAC's Deep Dive Study of Singaporean Music Listeners, which revealed that majority of Singaporeans are open to local music but do not have enough opportunities to hear and discover it. The initiative was first launched in 2023 as a Hear65 campaign, where it brought local music into places where Singaporeans meet, work, and play, such as SMRT stations and bus interchanges and the Sands Exhibition and Convention Center. Today, IPSGM continues to grow as its own National movement that reaches over 3 million people in Singapore daily.

Please stay tuned as we announce more news, partnerships, and upcoming activations here.
