Project Arts Metaverse

About Arts in Virtual Spaces: Project Arts Metaverse

Project Arts Metaverse was launched under Our SG Arts Plan (2023-2027) to unlock new opportunities for the arts in virtual spaces. The industry-led Alliance for Action (AfA) by the National Arts Council brought together key stakeholders from the arts and tech communities to develop innovative experiences for audience engagement and arts discovery in virtual spaces. This project demonstrates how we use technology to create a distinctive and inspiring city for the arts, in line with Our SG Arts Plan (2023-2027).

The project is developed through an AfA – a format that brings the People, Private and Public sectors together to provide impactful solutions in different sectors. The Project Arts Metaverse AfA comprises industry leaders from arts organisations, cultural institutions, technology partners and government agencies that is coming together to develop pilot arts experiences in the virtual space.

Arts Metaverse Pilots

Project Arts Metaverse supports the development of four pilot projects focused on youth engagement and audience development through virtual spaces. These projects will be progressively launched from 2025 through to 2026.
