Public Artworks

Public art can take various forms, from 2D wall murals and 3D sculptures to performative and ephemeral manifestations of an artist's creative process.

More importantly, the conception and premise of the artwork is rooted deeply in the public sphere, where it is widely visible and freely accessible to all.

cbk sprout Image Re-sized
Material: Forged Stainless Steel Location: Entrance, ARC 380, Singapore Duration: Permanent Collection: Others Dimensions: H3m x L2.1m x D1.2m

An organic form of a seedling breaking through its seed coat. The Sprout is an abstract interpretation of a germinated seed – symbolising new life and vigorous energy.

Designed exclusively for the ARC 380, its harmonious curves perceivably traced the contours of the numeral 380, denoting ARC 380 as a sprouting seed thriving on this city fringe.
