Public Artworks

Public art can take various forms, from 2D wall murals and 3D sculptures to performative and ephemeral manifestations of an artist's creative process.

More importantly, the conception and premise of the artwork is rooted deeply in the public sphere, where it is widely visible and freely accessible to all.

Four red roses along the Promenade evoke an air of romance and passion for visitors enjoying the stunning sea view. In Greek mythology, it is said that when the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, arose from the sea, the gods created the rose to celebrate her birth. This artwork was created to celebrate the birth of VivoCity.
