Understanding NAC grants
NAC grants are a form of financial support for arts practitioners and organisations to help bring their creative projects to life. These grants are project-based, and recipients can expect funding to be released progressively in disbursements aligned with the achievement of specific project milestones.
A few things to note before you apply:
Every grant has different requirements. Each grant has its own eligibility criteria, qualifying costs, and submission requirements. Download and review the relevant guidelines thoroughly before applying.
Apply early, before your project begins. Most grants require submission weeks or even months before your project start date. Projects that have already commenced are not eligible for funding.
Remember to clear outstanding post-project reports. Outstanding reports or debts with NAC may affect your eligibility for future applications. Ensure all reports and payments are settled before submitting a new application.
Grants of $10,000 and above require certified accounts. A Statement of Accounts certified by an ISCA-registered accountant is required upon project closure for grants at this threshold.

Arts Infrastructure Schemes (FFAS, AHS, CSFS)
For arts practitioners and arts groups looking for dedicated spaces to create, rehearse and present their work, these schemes provide access to subsidised arts spaces and tenancy support that help you grow your practice, collaborate with others and bring the arts closer to communities.
