After you apply, what happens next?
Step 1 — Receive your results
Successful applicants will be contacted by NAC to discuss a set of reasonable targets for the next 3 years. Following the meeting, successful applicants will also receive a Letter of Award via the OurSG Grants Portal (OSG), setting out the terms and conditions of the funding support and the list of targets agreed upon by them and NAC. The grant offer is valid for two weeks from the date the notification is sent. If the applicant does not accept within this period, the offer will lapse. Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified within the same period.
Step 2 — Receive your funding
Funding will be disbursed in two instalments per financial year, subject to the monitoring process and reporting requirements during the period of funding and achievement of the agreed Funding Indicator targets. The funds will be credited into your organisation’s registered bank account.
Step 3 — Submit your reports
You are required to submit reports twice a year in accordance with the Financial Year, which runs from 1 April to 31 March.
Mid-Year Submission (due in October)
The mid-year submission covers the first half of the current Financial Year. Recipients must submit the following:
A Mid-Year Evaluation Report assessing progress against programme goals
A Mid-Year Programme Update summarising activities undertaken during the period
Audited Income & Expenditure and Financial Statements for the previous funded year[1]
Any relevant supporting documents
Year-End Submission (due in April)
The year-end submission covers the full Financial Year and is due the month after the Financial Year closes. Recipients must submit the following:
A Year-End Evaluation Report on overall programme outcomes and impact
A Year-End Programme Sheet summarising the year's activities
Any relevant supporting documents
These submissions are a good opportunity to keep track of your progress, and reflect on what you have accomplished over the past 12 months and plan for the period ahead. Your account manager may also schedule a review with you, where you can share your successes and any challenges you have faced.
[1] Audited financial statements for the preceding funded year are to be submitted as part of the mid-year submission, as these require time to be finalised after the close of the Financial Year.
*Failure to submit reports by the stipulated deadlines may affect the continuation of your grant.
