There are many ways of telling stories and using objects while telling stories is one of the most enjoyable ways, for both the teller and the audience.
In this very practical workshop, students will be introduced to a number of stories that are enhanced by the use of objects. These may include: string stories, drawing stories, paper folding or tearing stories, handkerchief stories and sand stories. The students will have the opportunity to explore the props and practice their use. They will leave the workshop with handouts and materials that will enable them to further develop their skills in telling these types of stories.
At the end of the programme students will learn to / understand

- enjoyment of stories, story reading and
storytelling.
