  Arts & Heritage District (National Publicity Platform)  

The National Publicity Platform is an initiative by the National Arts Council (NAC) that provides free street banner spaces for Singapore-based arts groups and institutions to promote their events and activities in high traffic areas within Singapore’s Art & Heritage District.

 

Updated: Applications for the display period of January to June 2018 are now closed.   Successful applicants will be notified by our appointed banner space administrator D’event Factory Pte Ltd.   Please contact D’event Factory Pte Ltd at bannerspace@deventfactory.com or call 98598547 (during office hours only) for queries.

The objective of this scheme is to increase public awareness of Singapore arts events.  While all groups are welcome to apply for these spaces, please note that priority will be accorded to arts and heritage groups of a non-profit nature in line with the overall objectives.

 

These street banner spaces are open for booking on a half yearly basis. The next application for display period of July to December 2018 will open in April  2018.  Please visit our website again for more details or email  bannerspace@deventfactory.com to be notified of the application dates.

  Civic District  

The Civic District is known as the historic birthplace of modern Singapore. Leading the Civic District’s place management efforts are the National Arts Council (NAC) and the National Parks Board (NParks), who work closely with various stakeholders in the area to enhance the vibrancy of the Civic District, creating an integrated arts, cultural and lifestyle precinct for all to enjoy.

 

There are lamp post banner spaces available for stakeholders within the Civic District to publicise their events and activities. NAC will administer these banner spaces within the core Civic District area.

  • While all organisations are welcome to apply for these spaces, please note that priority of allocation of the banner spaces within the Civic District will be sequenced as follows:

Outdoors events within the Civic District, organised by other government agencies  (e.g. Jubilee Walk by People’s Association, Car-Free Sunday by Urban Redevelopment Authority)

Indoor events within the Civic District, organised by stakeholders (Priority will be

given to respective stakeholders for banner spaces in front of their properties)

4

Indoor events within the Civic District, organised by stakeholders’ tenants/hirers

5

Events within the Civic District, organised by private organisations (e.g. JP Morgan Run, Standard Chartered Marathon)

6

Events held outside the Civic District, organised by government agencies (e.g. NOISE Singapore by NAC, National Design Week by DesignSingaporeCouncil)

7

National Campaigns and Charitable events held outside the Civic District (Singapore Kindness Movement, Clean & Green Singapore, Comchest)

 

  • Banners promoting the following are strictly not allowed:
  1. Messages promoting deals, discounts, offers whether within or outside the Civic District (i.e. 50% off, Buy 1 Get 1 Free)
  2. Events outside  the Civic District and organised by private organisations (i.e. Wine Fiesta, Cirque du Soleil)
