The National Arts Council aims to bring engaging arts experiences to different neighbourhoods in Singapore through various initiatives such as the NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park and the Arts in Your Neighbourhood programme, supported via our network of Community Arts and Culture Nodes.

 

ARTS IN YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD MAIN SEASONS

The main seasons of the Arts In Your Neighbourhood are in March and November every year. The month-long series of engaging and fun arts activities aims to provide enriching arts experiences right to your doorstep. The Arts in Your Neighbourhood programme comprises of a suite of quality arts programmes – performed and facilitated by established artists and arts groups – at various locations across the island.

Arts in Your Neighbourhood Open Call 2019/2021

The National Arts Council is inviting proposals from creative producers, artists and arts organisations to develop and present arts experiences to various neighbourhood spaces across the island for Arts in Your Neighbourhood 2019/2021. In particular, it is seeking proposals with innovative formats of presenting the arts in neighbourhood spaces, site specific works and works inspired by the various neighbourhoods, its residents, history or heritage.

NAC-EXXONMOBIL CONCERT IN THE PARK

The NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park series was launched in 1996, with the aim of bringing the arts to new audiences and exposing them to various art forms through a series of quality concerts held at accessible parks all over the island. Featuring Singaporean artists, the concerts include fringe activities alongside stage performances, offering a holistic and enjoyable experience for both individuals and families.

 

Look out for the next few concerts coming your way at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. Fringe programmes start from 4.30pm.
