Updated as of Dec 2021
Given the economic impact of the pandemic, the COVID-19 Recovery Grant (CRG) was launched in January 2021 by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) to provide temporary financial support to workers in lower- to middle-income households who are presently experiencing involuntary job loss, involuntary no-pay leave (NPL) or income loss due to the economic impact of COVID-19.
In Decemeber 2021, MSF announced an extension of the grant, and CRG is now open for application until 31 December 2022 to continue supporting Singaporeans and Permanent Residents who are financially impacted by COVID-19. Find out more about the eligibility criteria and application process on MSF's website here.
While the economic outlook has improved since the start of the pandemic, some Singaporeans’ financial and employment circumstances continue to be affected. MSF will continue to support these workers while they actively search for a new job or pursue training opportunities. For any assistance on the CRG application, please call the ComCare Call hotline (1800-222-0000), email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit your nearest Social Service Office (go.gov.sg/ssolocator).
