The Master Artist Series (MAS) allows both educators and students to learn from prolific artists who are masters and pioneers of their artistic practice.
Formerly known as the Cultural Medallion Speaker Series in Schools, the MAS (Students) scheme has reached more than 1000 schools since 2012 through an array of talks and workshops. Recent workshops include speakers such as Haresh Sharma, Amanda Heng, and Riduan Zalani, and have taken place both in person and via digital platform.
The MAS (Teachers) allows Visual Art, Music, Drama and Dance teachers to benefit from talks, masterclasses or workshops conducted by Cultural Medallion (CM) and Young Artist Award (YAA) recipients. The scheme is a collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s Singapore Teachers Academy for the aRts (MOE-STAR) and Arts Education Branch (MOE-AEB) to support the capability development of teachers.
