Calling for practitioners to attend the EPIC programme (curated by The Artground) in Melbourne, Australia from 22 - 30 September 2018
NAC is conducting an Open Call to support practitioners across all art forms keen to develop their practice in creating works and arts experiences for young audiences aged 12 years and below, to attend the EPIC Programme.
EPIC, which stands for Exposure, Participate, Innovate and Create, is a programme organised and curated by The Artground, and offers tiered levels of capability development opportunities. This year, the EPIC Programme will be taking place in Melbourne, Australia, from 22 - 30 September 2018. Participants of the EPIC Programme will be attending the following:
- Forums, workshops and performances across art forms (i.e. theatre, dance, music installation, visual art installation) at the Melbourne Fringe
- Masterclasses on inclusive theatre practice, dramaturgical frameworks for theatre for early years, and puppetry for early years
- Roundtable discussion on methodologies between Singaporean and Melbourne-based practitioners
- Guided tours in venues such as ArtPlay, Melbourne Museum and National Gallery Victoria
