National Piano & Violin Competition

The biennial National Piano and Violin Competition was first organised in 1997 by the National Arts Council and serves as a platform for music excellence. It aims to develop the performing skills of musicians in Singapore, improve musical standards and identify potential music talents by providing opportunities for young musicians to perform before international adjudicators. The 2015 competition will be co-organised by the National Arts Council and Singapore Symphony Orchestra.


Registration for the 2015 National Piano & Violin Competition is now closed.

Balloting Results

A balloting session was conducted on 7 October 2015 at the National Arts Council to determine the order of appearance of the participants at the Competition. The results of the balloting session are as follows:
