"My exquisite words were: Delicate, Imaginable, Pure, Perfect, Derivitive, Beautaus, Crafty, Fuscia. Mundane activities: Cutting nails, folding clothes, making the bed, chopping carots, beating eggs?
I remembered what it meant to be an artist."

"It provided me with the rare space and time to write a piece that wasn't driven by the constraints imposed by producers, budgets or audiences. And it allowed me to return to my roots as a writer, and pursue topics that I might otherwise shy away from."
?Jean Tay
"The programme would probably best suit seasoned playwrights who could use the time and space to revise/re-draft works that they are already working on. As much time is reserved for writing after the daily morning sessions, seasoned playwrights could focus on their work without distraction, a luxury that most playwrights in Singapore would not be able to afford."
