Arts for All Community Engagement Plan was initiated in 2008 to broaden and deepen arts experience and appreciation in the community as well as to enliven community spaces through sustained access to quality arts.
In collaboration with community partners to bring quality arts performances to the community through a year-long calendar of events held at community spaces. The performances are designed to be interactive and educational.
- ACT (Arts Community Tours) co-organised by National Arts Council and community partners, the performances and exhibitions are staged at the heartlands to expose the community to different arts experiences and genres.
- Arts 101 - workshops and inspirational talks held alongside Arts Community Tours to enhance arts appreciation and encourage active participation.
- Community Participation Grant - supports and develops artist-led community arts projects that involve professional artists working closely with members of the public. For more information, please click here.
- NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park a series of concerts held at different parks all over Singapore organised by National Arts Council and sponsored by ExxonMobil with the support of National Parks Board.
- District Arts Festivals five distinctive annual community arts festivals are held at the heartlands. These are organised by Community Development Councils and supported by National Arts Council.
Brings programmes targeted to reach different segments of the population.
- Workshop Programmes providing first hand interactive experience
~ Silver Arts Programme - provides opportunities for senior citizens to participate in meaningful and creative arts activities.
~ programmes designed for families, children, youths, senior citizens and the underprivileged.
- Partnership/Artists in Community strategic alliances and collaborations with organisations who share the same passion in promoting quality arts programmes and initiatives to the wider community.
