The National Arts Council (NAC), Singapore, in partnership with the University of Iowa's International Writing Program (IWP), is pleased to offer a fully-paid three month residency award to a Singaporean writer for the 2012 intake from 25 August - 13 November 2012.

Application Deadline
All applications, complete with a full set of supporting documents, must reach the NAC by 5pm on 2 April 2012.
Application Procedure
To apply for the Residency, please download the information sheet for details and the Application Form for the 2012 NAC-IWP Residency. All applications must be supported by the following application material:
- Completed application form;
- Detailed curriculum vitae;
- Samples of two past works (between 10 to 15 pages);
- A passport photo; and
- Proposal letter (which includes the writer's statement of purpose, objectives, outline, activities. Please detail the new work which will be accomplished during the Residency.)
All applications are to be submitted in PDF or Word format and emailed to: kiruthiga_mahendran@nac.gov.sg. Late applications or applications with incomplete documents will not be accepted.
