The Scheme aims to support Singapore's violinists who have the potential and commitment to pursue an international solo music career with the use of a fine instrument, so as to contribute to the international advancement of Singapore violinists. 

The loan of the J.B. Guadagnini violin has been awarded to Ms Tang Tee Khoon from August 2011 to July 2013.
