This grant supports the presentation and promotion of quality traditional arts activities, which reflect the artistic and cultural expressions of Singapore's major ethnic groups, and contribute to the overall advancement of the Singapore arts scene.
Applications are open to:
- Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents who are recognised by their peers as practitioners of Traditional Arts.
- Non-profit distributing Traditional Arts organisations registered in Singapore and whose core business is related to Traditional Arts
Note: Informal groups of individual artists may apply for funding but must nominate either an individual or a legally constituted organisation to take legal and financial responsibility for the application and administering the grant should any be awarded.
There is no limit to the number of Presentation & Promotion Grant (Traditional Arts) applications an organisation or individual may submit. However, the total sum of Presentation & Promotion Grants (Traditional Arts) awarded to any one particular organisation or individual will not exceed $60,000 in any one financial year.
