These grants support the international engagements and international promotion of Singapore artists and their works.

Applications are open to:
- Individual applicants who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents and recognised by their peers as professional practising artists. Priority will be given to full-time practitioners;
- Arts organisations registered in Singapore whose core business is related to the arts.
Note: Arts organisations must be legally constituted for at least one year prior to the application.
Note: Informal groups of individual artists may apply for funding but must nominate either an individual or a legally constituted organisation to take legal and financial responsibility for the application and the grant, if awarded.
The nature and scope of the project as well as the availability of funds will determine the grant quantum. The grant quantum will be based on a reasonable estimate of the budget and subject to the following limits:
- International Travel Grant: Up to $40,000, and no more than 3 grants per financial year
- International Collaboration Grant: Up to $70,000 and no more than 1 grant per financial year
- Market Development Grant: Up to $10,000, and no more than 1 grant per financial year
The sum total of International Development Grants awarded to any recipient will not exceed $100,000 per financial year. Each recipient can receive no more than 5 International Development Grants in one year.
