The National Arts Council Arts Education Programme (NAC-AEP) provides a pool of quality arts education programmes for schools so as to enhance and develop a life-long interest in the arts from young. Programmes under the NAC-AEP span art forms like Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, Literary Arts and Film and Multimedia. They are also categorised into three types: Arts Exposure, Arts Experience and Arts Excursion.

Selection and assessment of arts education programmes are conducted by a panel of arts and education experts, principals and officials from the Ministry of Education and NAC.
