Opportunities for Working with Community

Working with At-Risk Youths

The arts plays an important role in offering young people at-risk an outlet for expression, growth and reflection. We want to provide marginalised groups of young people with access to the arts and develop a range of prevention, early intervention and rehabilitation programmes to meaningfully engage them in healthy activities.

Through customised programmes to meet the needs of young people at-risk, we hope to see the transformative power of the arts in their lives, especially in the areas of increased self esteem, renewed interest in learning and development of arts and life skills, to contribute to a reduction in delinquent behaviour over time.

If you're an artist interested to work with young people at-risk, please contact Chua_Jia_Lin@nac.gov.sg for more details.
