Mentor Access Project (MAP) 2012 – CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Emerging writers are invited to submit applications to the National Arts Council Mentor Access Project (MAP), a 12-month mentorship programme for sustained development of Singapore writers writing in English, Chinese, Malay or Tamil.
Successful applicants will undergo mentorship by an established writer, with various opportunities to participate in dialogue sessions, talks, workshops and public readings held over the course of the programme, at the end of which, selected works produced may be published. MAP participants will enjoy a dynamic community where every Mentor and Mentee are essential players through groupwork or responding constructively to literary writings. A new 2012 highlight is a stay-in weekend writing residency, which provides a creative space and duration for participants to network and come together to share and discuss their writing and creative processes.
MAP 2012 will run from August 2012 to July 2013.
Applications for the 2012 intake will close on 30 June 2012.
Download the application form here or from The Arts House website: http://www.theartshouse.com.sg/Develop/MentorAccessProject.aspx. For more details, download the MAP 2012 Guidelines here.
