National Arts Council Arts Education Programme

The National Arts Council Arts Education Programme (NAC-AEP) develops initiatives that advocate the value and the importance of arts education. It connects the arts community with the education sector and supports the professional development of arts educators.

2009-2010 Programme Directory

The NAC-AEP offers a wide range of quality arts education programmes covering the literary, performing and visual arts for students. Programmes endorsed under the NAC-AEP are eligible for the Tote Board Arts Grant subsidy (Terms and Conditions apply). NAC-AEP 2009- 2010 is available for booking now.

NAE Award

The National Art Education (NAE) Award recognises and rewards schools in Singapore with good arts practices and programmes. As of 2006, the Award is valid for 4 years from the year of winning.

Artist-In-School

The National Arts Council´s (NAC) Artist-In-School (AIS) Scheme supports and endorses collaboration between schools and professional Singapore artists in developing customised arts education programmes. NAC provides schools with seed grants up to S$10,000 or 30% of the qualifying cost (whichever is lower). NAC-AIS projects are also endorsed for subsidy from the Tote Board Arts Grant.
