ONLINE APPLICATIONS

 

The following applications are available to arts groups/organisations and artists interested in providing arts education programmes to schools (Terms & Conditions apply).

 

 

Endorsement by National Arts Council Arts Education Programmes (NAC-AEP)

(Online application)

 

Programmes assessed and endorsed by the National Arts Council Arts Education Programme (NAC-AEP) are:

 

a.              eligible for subsidy under the Tote Board Arts Grant (Terms and Conditions apply)

b.              published at NAC-AEP Programmes

 

Types of NAC-AEP:

                 Arts Exposure Programmes

                 Arts Experience Programmes

                 Arts Excursion Programmes

Artists and arts groups need to register themselves before applying. Registered users are required to use SingPass to login. Click here for details.

 

Registered users are required to use the NAC-AEP CV template when submitting artists CVs.

 


Artists and arts groups with existing programmes need not submit their currently-endorsed programmes for approval if cost, programme content and instructors/performers remain the same. These programmes will be assessed by the assessment panel as is.

Artists and arts groups who do not wish to renew currently-endorsed programmes can send an email to nac_aep@nac.gov.sg with the list of programmes to be withdrawn in 2009.

Artists and arts groups without programmes in the NAC-AEP currently can submit up to 10 programmes for NAC-AEP 2009/10.

Application closes on 15 May 2008.

Endorsement of Public Performances by NAC-AEP

Public performances by arts groups that are assessed and endorsed by NAC-AEP are eligible for the Tote Board Arts Grant subsidy which may be used for the purchase of tickets by students.

 

Applications for endorsement may only be made by the arts groups (not by schools). Endorsement of public performances for schools use of the Tote Board Arts Grant should not be taken as endorsement under NAC-AEP unless the arts group has separately submitted programmes for endorsement under the annual endorsement exercise that takes place every year between March and May.

 

Polytechnics are currently not eligible for this ticket subsidy.

Endorsement of Customised Workshops by NAC-AEP

The Tote Board Arts Grant may be used for the purchase of customised workshops by arts groups/organisations and artists that are endorsed by NAC-AEP. Such workshops are specially customised according to the needs of the school and therefore should be unique to the school named in the application. Applications for endorsement may only be made by the schools (not by the arts groups).

 

Note: Applications are only open to arts groups/organisations and artists with existing programmes that are endorsed under the annual endorsement for NAC-AEP Exposure and Experience programmes.

Listing on Calendar of Events (Online application)

 

The Calendar of Events publishes public arts events and activities which may be of interest to teachers, students and National Arts Council Arts Education Programme (NAC-AEP) providers.

 

The list of events and activities includes those that are NAC-AEP Endorsed and thus eligible for the Tote Board Arts Grant subsidy (see 1a below); as well as those that fall outside this category (1b).

 

1.                      Public arts events and activities refer to:

 

a.      NAC-AEP endorsed arts performances/plays/films at public venues for students (NAC-AEP Providers are to apply for NAC-AEP Endorsement of Public Performances before applying to list the programmes on the Calendar of Events)

b.      other arts activities/events including:

                                                                            i.        Free arts performances/plays/films/exhibitions at public venues for teachers and students

                                                                           ii.        Local or overseas workshops/seminars/symposiums/conferences related to Arts Education for teachers or NAC-AEP providers

 

c.      arts-related competitions for students

Applications for listing on the Calendar of Events are open from January to December. Selected information will be published within two weeks of submission. NAC reserves the right to selectively publish information submitted.
